1. license
subject to your compliance with these terms and payment of the applicable fees, the blank collar grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use blankcollar.ai for your internal business purposes during the subscription term.
2. scope
the license covers the users, seats and deployment configuration recorded in your order form. additional use requires a written upgrade.
3. restrictions
you will not: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the software outside the extension points we document, (b) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, (c) rent, lease, lend, sell or sublicense the software, (d) use the software to offer a competing service, (e) remove proprietary notices.
4. ownership
the software is licensed, not sold. all intellectual property rights in the software remain with the blank collar and its licensors. any feedback you provide may be used by the blank collar without obligation.
5. updates
we ship updates to the hosted tier continuously. self-hosted customers receive signed release artifacts. security fixes are flagged; material changes are announced in the release notes.
6. open-source components
the software includes open-source components distributed under their own licenses. a notices file is included with each release.
7. termination
this license ends automatically if you materially breach it or your subscription ends. on termination you will stop using the software and, on request, destroy copies in your possession.
8. warranty disclaimer
the software is provided on an "as is" basis. we disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. liability
liability is limited as set out in the terms of use.
10. governing law
swiss law. exclusive jurisdiction: canton of aargau.
